A Constellation of Vital Phenomena
"In a small rural village in Chechnya, eight-year-old Havaa watches from the woods as Russian soldiers abduct her father in the middle of the night and then set fire to her home. When their lifelong neighbor Akhmed finds Havaa hiding in the forest with a strange blue suitcase, he makes a decision that will forever change their lives. He will seek refuge at the abandoned hospital where the sole remaining doctor, Sonja Rabina, treats the wounded." (Penguin Random House)

Saturday • 02/06/2016 • 10:00am - 3:00pm
With countless books being made into movies nowadays, it's always interesting to see how the stories jump from the pages and come to life. Are the characters exactly how we picture them to be? How much artistic licensing did the director take?
We are hosting a monthly movie night showing movies made from books! How fun is that?? No cost, no registration required. Munchies and drinks to share are welcome.
Upcoming showings will be announced. Check back soon!
